Megan Johannsen is an artist living and working in Los Angeles. She finds inspiration for her projects from daily life, books, music, friends, and family.

She is currently interested in exploring the way we view materials, tools, and supplies, and how we can use and reuse them to create new work.

She believes that art has the power to transform life on earth, which would otherwise exist somewhere on a scale between boring and unbearable, into an expedition overflowing with discovery, invention, and inspiration.
